God created seasons for our lives here on earth. Seasons come. And seasons go. These seasons remind us, not only of the brevity of life on earth, but also the balance we need to have in life, to live it well. Yes, life on earth is brief. But it is best lived by those who maintain a balanced-perspective on life. One of the ways to maintain a balanced perspective on life is to prayerfully commit each month, God gives us the privilege to live in, to Him, to carry out His divine purposes concerning us. The Lord Jesus declared: "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end" (Revelation 22:13; NASB). You see, the beginning of things and their end are very important to our Lord and our God. That's why, for many years, I personally commit myself to dedicating the beginning of every month to my Lord and my God, to accomplish what concerns me (see Psalm 138:8). But I didn't stop there. I have also included my family, friends, fellow believers, Israel, the Church, and the world. For God to accomplish what concerns them as well. Below, is the purpose for the "Prayer for the Month" page.
PURPOSE
To call upon the Lord of Life, who "gives life and breath and all things" (Acts 17:25) to us, at the beginning of each month.
To commit our cause to the Lord, at the beginning of every month, to accomplish what concerns us, Israel, His Church, and His world.
To come before the Lord, at the beginning of the month, with glad and grateful hearts, acknowledging that; He knows what's ahead of us.
To cast all our cares and concerns upon our God, in all humility and honesty, confidently believing that He wants His very best for us, each month of our time of stay on earth.
To celebrate His grace and goodness to us in this present life.
