Caring and Compassionate Father
Caring and Compassionate Father, we are glad and grateful for the privilege and pleasure of bringing us into a new month. That’s March 2026! Oh, how can we thank You for Your constant care for us and Your comforting compassion toward us. Your care and compassion sustained us throughout February 2026! And indeed, Your care and compassion will abound for us in the new month of March 2026 and beyond! In his great affliction, Job made this bold and blessed declaration of Your gift of life and care for him. “You have granted me life and steadfast love, and your care has preserved my spirit” (Job 10:12; ESV).
We also declare to You today
Similarly, we also declare to You today that You have granted us life and Your care is preserving our spirits. Yes, You, Lord, have granted us life for this month and it’s Your care that’s preserving us in it. Moreover, You are committed to showing us Your compassion throughout March 2026 and beyond! For Your word assures us of Your commitment to show us Your compassion. It says: “As a father shows compassion to his children, so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear him” (Psalms 103:13; ESV).
Your promise to Redeemed Israel…further stresses Your unfliching commitment
Moreover, Your promise to Redeemed Israel through Your prophet Isaiah, further stresses Your unflinching commitment to show us Your compassion. “In overflowing anger for a moment I hid my face from you, but with everlasting love I will have compassion on you” (Isaiah 54:8; ESV). Oh how privileged we are! Oh how precious of our God to commit Himself to having compassion on us with everlasting love! A love that’s unceasing, unchanging, unconditional, undying, unending, unfailing, unlimited, unquenchable, unrelenting, and unwavering!
Caring and Compassionate Father, we thank You
Indeed, Caring and Compassionate Father, we thank You for Your warm and tender compassion toward us. You, O LORD, our God, not only have been caring for us; but You have been carrying us through life. We’ve seen how You carried us, as a man carries his son, all the way we went until we came to this place (see Deuteronomy 1:31). We greatly appreciate Your care for us. As well, we admire Your compassion toward us. Where would we be without Your care and compassion? Certainly, we do not what to think about living life without Your care and compassion.
Such a life would be hopeless
Such a life would be hopeless, harsh, dreadful, and despairing! It would be full of frustration and fear. But thanks be to God, Your care and compassion abound upon us daily. Because of this, we will not live in hopelessness! Therefore, we exalt and extol You. We appreciate and adore You. Your word declares: “The LORD’s lovingkindness indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:22-23; NASB). What marvelous blessings You have bestowed on Your believing children! We are recipients of Your never-ceasing lovingkindness or steadfast love. As well, we are beneficiaries of Your never-ending compassions or mercies.
Truly, we…are the most blessed people in the world
Truly, we, Your believing children, are the most blessed people in the world. For You, O Father, have “blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 1:3b; ESV). You, O LORD, promised that, if we faithfully obey Your voice, Your blessings shall come upon us and overtake us (see Deuteronomy 28:1-14). Furthermore, You assured us that if we take You at Your word and obey You: “I will command my blessing on you in the sixth year, so that it will produce a crop sufficient for three years. When you sow in the eighth year, you will be eating some of the old crop; you shall eat the old crop until the ninth year, when its crop arrives” (Leviticus 25:21-22; ESV). Moreover, Your blessing makes rich, and You add no sorrow with it (see Proverbs 10:22).
Caring and Compassionate Father, we are greatly pleased
Indeed, Caring and Compassionate Father, we are greatly pleased and privileged to belong to You. A God, whose care for us is so tender and timely. A God, whose compassions for us never fail nor falter. Yes, You are our God! A God who is generous with the blessings You richly and readily bestow on us; as we faithfully obey You. What more can we say to You, O LORD, our God? Like David, we declare: “You are great, O LORD God; for there is none like You, and there is no God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears” (2 Samuel 7:22; NASB).
You’re great
Because You’re great, and that there’s no God besides You, we dedicate the month of March 2026 to You! O Father, accomplish what concerns our families, friends and us. Also, “God of Israel” (Exodus 5:1), bring off Your beautiful and befitting blessings for the nation of Israel –Your chosen people. As well, Lover of the Church, carry through Your counsels for Your Church – Your called-out people. Furthermore, “Lord of the whole earth” (Micah 4:13), in March 2026 and beyond – discharge all Your desires and designs for Your world. A world made up of all the countries and coastlands You created under the heavens!
God of Israel, we pray for the nation of Israel
“God of Israel” (Exodus 5:1), we pray for the nation of Israel, Your chosen and cherished people. Although, Israel was not the first nation You created, yet You said of her: “Israel is My Son, My firstborn” (Exodus 4:22; NASB)! Indeed, Israel is dear to Your heart. She is as dear to You as a man’s firstborn is, or as his only son. As such, You are pleased to bestow Your manifold blessings upon her. These include, giving them rest from all their enemies (see 2 Samuel 7:1, 11; 1 Chronicles 22:9), giving them victory over their enemies (see 2 Samuel 8:1-8, 14; 2 Chronicles 14:9-15; 20:1-30), and being their God (Exodus 6:7a ). Israel is also blessed as a great nation who has a god so near to it as the LORD their God (see Deuteronomy 4:7).
Caring and Compassionate Father,…You promised them many blessings
Moreover, Caring and Compassionate Father, depending on their obedience to You, You promised them many blessings. You “will set [them] high above all the nations of the earth” (Deuteronomy 28:1b; ESV). What a great honor! Furthermore, You bestowed on them the special blessing of establishing them as a people holy to You Yourself (see Deuteronomy 28:9). You also promised them the blessing of making them abound in prosperity (see Deuteronomy 28:11). As well, You promised to bless them in all the works of their hands (see Deuteronomy 28:12b). As if these were not enough, You also promised to make them the head and not the tail if they would obey You (see Deuteronomy 28:13b).
They experienced and enjoyed Your manifold blessings
Indeed, throughout Israel’s history, they experienced and enjoyed Your manifold blessings, when their leaders did what’s right in Your sight. Kings like David, Asa, Jehoash, Jotham, and Hezekiah did what was right in Your eyes (1 Kings 15:5; 1 Kings 15:11; 2 Kings 12:2; 2 Kings 15:34; 2 Kings 18:3). As such, they experienced Your manifold blessings during their reigns. Kings who did evil in Your eyes, brought great distress upon themselves and their subjects. Therefore, we pray for the nation of Israel today. Please, “God of Israel” (Exodus 5:1), grant that the political and religious leaders of Israel today, will do what’s right in Your eyes. May they be leaders whose hearts You turn to wherever You wish in order to accomplish Your divine purposes for Israel (see Proverbs 21:1)!
We pray that Your hand will be upon it
O God of Israel, since Israel’s general election will be held this year, we pray that Your hand will be upon it. Your word says: “The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the LORD” (Proverbs 16:33; ESV). It also teaches us that You remove leaders and raise up others (see Acts 13:22). Indeed, You are actively involved in human history – directing its course to its predicted end. As such, we are confident that Your hand will certainly be at work in Israel’s general election this year. Your choice of the Prime Minister, whether it’s Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu or someone else, will certainly be revealed. For You are still in the business of directing the affairs of the nations! O YAHWEH SHALOM, may Your SHALOM prevail during Israel’s general election this year!
Caring and Compassionate Father we pray for Your Church
And now, Caring and Compassionate Father, we pray for Your Church in such a time as this. We thank You for Your plans and purposes for Your Church. Indeed, Your Church on earth is not run by the opinions of men, but by Your ordinances – spelt out in Your Word. Your Church exists on earth to exalt You. She exists to edify or build up believers in Jesus Christ. As well, she exists to evangelize; that is, spread Your gospel to the ends of the earth.
We, therefore, pray for Your Church
We, therefore, pray for Your Church to be about her Father’s business on earth. For soon, the end of life on earth as we know it, will come. Father, forgive Your Church for living as if life on earth will continue forever and ever. Of a truth, we have but a short time on earth. Therefore, we pray that Your Holy Spirit, will give Your Church a fresh sense of urgency to be about Your business. Indeed, You desire for Your Church to exalt You.
We pray for Your Spirit’s gracious work
As such, we pray for Your Spirit’s gracious work of empowering Your Church to commit herself to giving You unadulterated worship. Indeed, You are seeking true worshippers who will worship You in spirit and truth (see John 4:22-23). O Father, may You find in Your Church today, true worshippers who are worshipping You in spirit and truth! Anything less, will never be accepted by You. Because it will be adulterated worship – which You will surely reject.
Also, we pray for Your Church
Also, we pray for Your Church to commit herself to edifying true believers in Christ Jesus. We live in an age of deception in which many false prophets, false teachers and false apostles operate. Our Lord Jesus Christ, and His apostles Peter, John, and Paul, all warned Your Church of their activities (see Matthew 7:15; 24:11, 24; 2 Peter 2:1; 1 John 4:1; 2 Corinthians 11:13). Therefore, it is vitally crucial that true believers in Christ be built up and strengthened in their faith. We thank You for giving Your Church gifted men (that is: “the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers”) “to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:11-12; ESV). May Your gifted men never fail in fulfilling their God-given responsibility of equipping all true born-again believers in Your Church!
Caring and Compassionate Father
Also, Caring and Compassionate Father, we pray that You will renew Your Church’s passion for evangelism. That is, sharing and spreading the Gospel to the ends of the earth. We confess to You that when it to comes sharing and spreading the Gospel, Your Church is complacent, not concerned. She is casual, not committed. She is cold, not consumed with passion for reaching out to the unsaved. We sincerely confess our complacent, casual and cold attitudes toward the Great Commission task You have entrusted to our care.
Your Church, desperately needs Your help
We need the gracious work of Your Holy Spirit to change our attitudes from complacency to being concerned. From being casual to being committed. And from being cold to one of being consumed with passion for reaching out to the unsaved with the good news of Jesus Christ. Therefore, O LORD, help us. We, Your Church, desperately needs Your help to make a lasting difference in spreading the Gospel in our generation. May Your Church not leave any stone unturned in spreading the good news in such a time as this!
And now, Lord of all the earth, we pray for Your world
And now, “Lord of all the earth” (Joshua 3:11, 13; Psalms 97:5), we pray for Your world. Your great desire for the people who do not know You, is that they come to the knowledge of the truth. Your word says: “This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:3-4; NASB). We thank You that Your only begotten Son finished the work of salvation. His work of salvation on behalf sinners like myself is perfect. Nothing, absolutely nothing, can be added to it. There is only one thing left for sinful man to do to secure salvation. That is, to believe in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross. But sinful man needs Your gracious work in his life to bring him to the point of expressing faith in Christ Jesus.
I am sending you to open their eyes
Paul, Your chosen apostle, testified of Your gracious work in sinful man in order to bring him to faith in Jesus. Before Governor Festus and King Agrippa, Paul shared what the Risen Lord, told him to do when He converted him. “I am sending you to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me” (Acts 26:17b-18; NASB).
Caring and Compassionate Father, we pray
Therefore, Caring and Compassionate Father, we pray for Your divine work of opening the eyes of unbelievers. Your word says: “The god of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God” (2 Corinthians 4:4; ESV). This means unbelievers are blinded to spiritual truth by Satan, “the god of this world.” Indeed, You alone can open the blind eyes and minds of unbelievers.
We cannot do that
We cannot do that. That’s why we are beseeching You to do Your divine work of opening their blind eyes and minds. As a result of this divine work of Yours, please turn unbelievers from darkness to light. That is, bring them out of their spiritual blindness to the light, Your sphere of salvation. Yes, turn them from the control and domination of Satan to You, – in whom they can find freedom and forgiveness of their sins.
Caring and Compassionate Father, we earnestly to pray to You
Indeed, Caring and Compassionate Father, we earnestly pray to You on behalf of unbelievers. Turn them from the power of Satan to Yourself in order to experience and enjoy the most significant blessing of salvation. That is, the forgiveness of sins You bestow on repentant sinners – based on the finished work of Jesus Christ. Also grant that they may experience and enjoy the blessings believers will savor throughout eternity in heaven. O LORD, these blessings and many more, are awaiting unbelievers who come to You solely through faith in Jesus Christ.
Lord of the whole earth, be gracious to Your people
Now, “Lord of the whole earth” (Micah 4:13; ESV), be gracious to Your believing people in the Middle East. Just as I completed composing this prayer with Your help, news broke out that Israel and the United States launched a massive joint attack on Iran, on February 28, 2026. Iran wasted no time in launching retaliatory waves of missiles toward Israel and U. S. military bases in the Persian Gulf. We know that this was no surprise for You. For, You are in control of all the affairs of the nations. Therefore, we earnestly pray to You to protect and preserve Your chosen people– Israel and Your believing children in the Middle East. As well, we plead with You to bring good out of this rapidly developing situation. Specifically, we pray “that the word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored” (2 Thessalonians 3:1; ESV) among the people of the Middle East. O Lord of the whole world, set free many who are deceived and held in bondage by the devil for ages. We thank You that You are the Great Warrior, Conqueror and Victor.
Caring and Compassionate Father, we are grateful
Candidly, Caring and Compassionate Father, we are grateful that You are a prayer answering God. When Sennacherib, the king of Assyria, sent his army to attack Jerusalem, Your servant Hezekiah prayed to You. You answered him in his day of great distress through Your prophet Isaiah – with these blessed and beautiful words. “Because you have prayed to Me about Sennacherib king of Assyria, I have heard you” (2 Kings 19:20b; NASB). Because we’ve also prayed to You about Israel, Your Church, and Your world, we’ve confidence that You’ve heard us too.
Your word says
For Your word says: “And this is the confidence that we have toward [you], that if we ask anything according to [your] will [you hear] us. And if we know that [ you hear] us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of [you]” (1 John 5:14-15; ESV). Caring and Compassionate Father, we pray all this in the mighty and marvelous name of Jesus Christ. Your Blessed Son! Our Beautiful Savior! Amen.
