Marvelous and Majestic Father

Marvelous and Majestic Father, You’ve been so faithful and forgiving. Yes, You’ve also been so gracious and generous to us. We are glad and grateful for all the lovingkindness You’ve shown us so far in this New Year. No god has been good to us as You’ve been. Truly, “greater is our God than all the gods” (2 Chronicles 2:5b). We genuinely and gladly embrace the exhortation of the psalmist: “Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, for His lovingkindness is everlasting” (Psalm 107:1).   We give You the thanks due Your name for being are our defender and defense. Thank You also for being our deliverer and the defeater of our enemies, both in the spiritual and physical realms.

Thank You for All You Do Behind the Scenes

Righteous Father, thank You so much for all You do behind the scenes on our behalf. We also give thanks to You for always looking out for our best interest. Indeed, we cannot find words to fittingly and fully express our heartfelt gratitude to you for taking care of all our needs and touching our lives in special ways in the month of February. What can we say in response to all You’ve done and continue to do, out of Your unconditional and unfailing love for us? We can only echo the praise of David, the sweet psalmist of Israel.

Bless the Lord, O My Soul

“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; who pardons all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; who satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle” (Psalm 104:1-5).  

We’ve Experienced These Benefits

We’ve experienced these benefits and more in the last month. Now, in Your favor and faithfulness, You’ve blessed us with the awesome privilege of experiencing and enjoying Your gift of life in a brand new month, March 2021. What will happen in March 2021? What will be the major headlines in March 2021? Honestly, we have no idea. Will a spiritual revival spread like fire in the nations? You alone know. Will we be celebrating victory over the COVID-19 pandemic? It’s known only to You. It’s only You who have perfect knowledge as to whether or not there will be political upheavals, economic downturn and more job losses in the nations. You are fully aware as to whether there will be conflicts between the world’s superpowers, or resolution of the divisive and difficult problems of racial injustices.

You Know All Things

Because You know all things and are in control of all things that will happen in our lives in March 2021 and even beyond, we submissively and sincerely dedicate March 2021 to You, in the precious and powerful name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Exalted and Everlasting Ruler of the universe, please, in Your grace and goodness, accomplish all that concerns our families, our friends and fellow-believers, and us; Israel – Your created and chosen nation; Your Church – that is, Your called-out and consecrated people, and Your world – made up of all the continents and the lands You created under the heavens – for the praise of Your great name.

Please Gladden Our Hearts

We thankfully and truly acknowledge before You on this first day of March 2021 that we will not be able to survive, let alone thrive in March 2021 without Your personal and purposeful investment and involvement in our lives and circumstances. Please gladden our hearts with Your presence. Guide us. Guard us. Grow us in You. Get our attention when we are wandering away from the path of righteousness. Give us all that we need to live to honor Your majestic and magnificent name. Generate in us a fresh desire and passion to share Your good news to a lost and dying world around us.

Grant Us Your Victory in Our Spiritual Warfare

Grant us Your victory in our spiritual warfare “against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12). Go with us to wherever You send us to serve Your purpose. And above all, glorify Your awesome name through all You sovereignly permit or specifically do in our lives in March 2021.

We Commit All These Things to You

Oh mighty and merciful Lord, we commit all these things to You, resolutely believing that You are “able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to [You] be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen” (Ephesians 3:20-21).
