Practically English has no words beginning with the letter X to use in praising or thanking God. As such, I tried to be creative and cultural. I decided to use words from my mother tongue called “Ewe.” It has 30 letters in its alphabet. “Ewe” is pronounced “e-ve.”
On October 24, 2024, in addition to my daily thanksgivings, I thanked my God for being XCELLENT (this is my own creative word for God’s Excellent nature), XORLA (Savior), XORNAMETOR (Deliverer), XORLOR (Friend), XEXEAME WORLA (Creator of the world), for being “Mia dela tso XAXAME” (Our Savior from trouble), for XORSE (Faith), for XORSETORWO (Believers), for XORLORWO (Friends), for “Kristo fe XADAME si wotorla” (for Christ’s side which was pierced).
